No. We love dogs so much and we would never support any puppy mill. We recommend visiting your local shelter or rescue when looking for your next furry family member. There are also breed-specific rescues if you are looking for a certain breed of pet. If purchasing from a breeder, please make sure you do your research and meet the parents of your new puppy. A good breeder will be open to any and all questions about the background of your potential new family member.

Yes! All friendly and well-behaved pets are welcome, regardless of their breed or size! Please make sure your pet is always on a leash as some of our visitors do not like to be approached too quickly. All leashes must be 6’ in length or shorter, and if you are bringing a new puppy to visit, please make sure you carry them into the store.

If your pet is exhibiting any cold-like symptoms, or has an active case of fleas, please see your vet before bringing your pet into any public areas where other pets visit.

Yes! We donate to our local humane socities weekly. We supply food, treats, litter, and other supplies to as many of our local shelters as possible.

If you would like to leave a donation at one of our stores, please let one of our team members know which humane society or rescue organization you would like your donation to be sent to!

We receive donation requests daily and simply cannot fulfill every request. Loyal Biscuit Co. gives priority to animal related organizations and/or causes. This policy was created to ensure that our process is fair and donations go towards real and legitimate causes and organizations. We reserve the right to reject any request for any reason.

In order to be considered for a donation, requests must be made at least three weeks prior to the scheduled event/fundraiser. Requests submitted less than three weeks in advance may not be eligible for consideration due to time restrictions. Although we would love to be able to donate to every cause out there, it just isn’t possible, so please understand that not all donation requests will be approved. This in no way reflects the value of your organization or event and we wish you luck with your fundraising endeavors, whether we can help you or not.

The best food for your pet depends on their specific health needs. Our crew is educated in understanding the nutritional value of each of the pet foods we carry so that they can best assist you in your pet food selection.

To get the best food for your pet, let an associate know their:

- Breed

- Age

- Health concerns

- What you are currently feeding

- Special dietary needs or allergies

- The price point you are looking to stay within

From the information you provide us, we can assist you in selecting a food and make more specific suggestions about feeding guidelines.

Switching your pet’s food abruptly can cause gastrointestinal upset such as vomiting, diarrhea, and a decreased appetite. Any time you decide to change your pet’s food, you should transition to the new diet gradually in order to give your pet’s system time to adjust to the change. Ideally, these transitions should happen over 5-7 days. During this transition, you will gradually incorporate more and more of the new food by mixing it with your pet’s current diet.

For most pets, a good diet transition will look like this:

- Day 1 & 2: 25% new diet and 75% old diet.

- Day 3 & 4: 50% new diet and 50% old diet.

- Day 5 & 6: 75% new diet and 25% old diet.

- Day 7: 100% new diet.

Supplements such as goat's milk or pureed pumpkin can be added to your pet's meal to help with the transition process. Some pets with sensitive stomachs, food allergies, or other gastrointestinal diseases may require a longer transition period.

Yes, we guarantee all of the food that we carry! Please make sure the food is in the original packaging along with the UPC and the expiration date visible with 50% or more remaining.

You can return food to any of our locations. If you are a loyalty member, we can look up your purchase in your account. If you don’t have an account with us, please make sure to bring your receipt with you so we can easily find your transaction.

To make a return, simply bring the item(s) back to one of our stores and we’ll work with you to make it right! Dog beds, dog boots, carriers, and chewed up items such as stuffed toys cannot be returned. If your dog is a super chewer, please ask our associates to help you find a toy that is guaranteed by the manufacturer.
