MUD SEASON HELPERS!

Spring is here! The weather is warming up, days are longer, and we are enjoying going outside with our dogs.

The less fun part is bringing all that mud in with you! In Maine, mud season is unavoidable. (Check on your friends with multiple dogs during mud season - they’re not ok!) Plus, dogs aren’t great about wiping their feet… unless you have this polite pup!

Here are some quick tips to make it through mud season…

Muddy paws? Try Earth Rated Dog Wipes!

Made with shea butter, aloe vera and chamomile, these hypoallergenic wipes are smart to keep by the door for those quick trips in and out! Gentle enough for everyday use, these are great for feet and touch-ups and come in both lavender and unscented varieties. Plus, you can feel good knowing they are certified compostable and USDA Certified 99% Biobased!

Splash & Dash? Try Tropiclean Waterless Shampoo!

For those more adventurous pups who can’t just walk AROUND the puddles, waterless shampoo makes a great alternative to a full bath! Perfect for spot washing and quick “undercarriage” or “splash zone” cleanups, the raspberry and mango help replenish natural moisture balance while coconut and aloe cleanse and deodorize. No rinsing required!!

Muddy Mutts? You need the Loyal Biscuit Co. Self-Serve Dog Wash!

Sometimes there's just no escaping the need for a full bath. Thankfully, the LBC has you covered with our Self-Serve Dog Wash! Our facilities are available first come, first served with no time limit and the best part - we clean up the mess!. Shampoo, towels, blow dryers, and basic grooming tools are available to restore your pup to their pre-mud bath glory! (Please note: Our Hallowell location does not have a Self-Serve Dog Wash.) A clean dog is a happy dog!
